Today Last Monday Of Sharwan 2081 Today, the last Monday of the month of Sharwan, there is a crowd of devotees in temples across the country, including Pashupatinath. Those who have been fasting and worshiping Shiva every Monday of July will finish their fast today.
Since Monday in Sharwan is considered the favorite day of Lord Shiva, on this day the devotees perform fasts, prayers, donations, etc. According to religious belief doing this will bring happiness, peace, prosperity, and the well-being of the family. Basudevkrishna Shastri says.
Bolbam pilgrims also visit temples across the country. Bolbam devotees are thronging from early morning, offering water brought from Sundari Jal in Kathmandu to Pashupati.
According to the Pashupati Area Development Fund, arrangements have been made for the pilgrims and Bolbam passengers who came to worship at the Pashupatinath temple in the early morning. Arrangements have been made for security, volunteer mobilization, health camps, drinking water, etc. for the pilgrims.
Devghatdham, the confluence of Chitwan, Nawalparasi, and Tanahun, is also thronged by those who worship and fill the Bolbam fair on the last Monday of Sharwan.
