Big Update: EDV 2027 Will Not Open On November 1 In Nepal There had been official information suggesting that the EDV 2027 program would open on November 1st; however, it has now been confirmed—following an announcement made yesterday evening—that this will not happen. The program has been cancelled. I have made every effort to ensure that all Nepalis are kept informed about this development.
Many Nepalis had been preparing to apply for the DV Lottery 2027, having followed various guides—including those found in videos—and making their own plans accordingly. They were fully prepared to go through the application process. However, official information has now been received confirming that the program has been completely cancelled.
Although there were plans to open the DV Lottery registration form on November 1, 2026, it has been shut down entirely by the United States government.
I am sharing this update based on the official information I have received. It is unfortunate news for everyone; many people had been looking forward to applying for the DV Lottery and were quite excited about it. Many had felt that the process for the 2027 DV Lottery would be much easier, but it has now been confirmed that the program has been completely cancelled.
