Pokhara Advances To Qualifiers After Defeating Chitwan Pokhara Thunders FC have advanced to the second qualifier of the Nepal Super League (NSL). Pokhara edged closer to the final after defeating FC Chitwan 3-0 in the eliminator match held at the Dasharath Stadium on Sunday.
Pokhara took the lead through an own goal scored by Chitwan’s Abhishek Limbu in the 63rd minute.
Pokhara doubled its lead through a goal scored by Joe Aidoo in the 72nd minute.
He managed to score the third goal in the 76th minute.
Pokhara will now play Dhangadhi FC in the second qualifier. Dhangadhi was defeated by Lalitpur City FC in the first qualifier.
The winner between Pokhara and Dhangadhi will now play Lalitpur City for the title.
