Dang Deukhuri Receives The Most Rainfall: Rain System Moving East The rain system is moving from western Nepal to the east. The impact of this system is likely to bring rain to Karnali, Lumbini, Gandaki, and Bagmati. The Kathmandu Valley of Bagmati has been receiving intermittent rain since this morning.
Lalmatia in Dang Deukhuri has received the most rain in the last one hour. According to the department, 46 millimeters of rain has been measured in Lalmatia in a period of one hour.
Similarly, 35.6 millimeters of rain was recorded in Lamahi and 25.2 millimeters in Bagasoti. 17.6 millimeters of rain was recorded in Hasipur and 13.8 millimeters in Koilabas.
Similarly, it has also rained in Ghorahi, the district headquarters of Dang; Liwang in Rolpa; and Swargdwari in Pyuthan.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Nepal is currently under the influence of westerly winds and local winds. Due to their influence, a system of rain accompanied by thunder/lightning has developed. This system is moving from west to east.
Till 6 hours ago, there was rain with thunder/lightning in Dadeldhura, Kanchanpur, Baitadi, and other places in the Far West. The system is moving eastwards and has reached Karnali and Lumbini. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, this system has the possibility of bringing rain up to Gandaki.
