According to the company, users who search flood-related keywords in both Nepali and English languages will be directed to the official website of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) under the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Government of Nepal.
In addition, for more information and suggestions about personal and community safety, users can take the help of the ‘Tragic Safety Center’. The company said that through this initiative, official updates and instructions can be received from reliable sources during natural disasters.
The company says that this initiative was started with the idea of minimizing the spread of false information that can cause confusion or potential danger, especially in emergency situations.
