Keeping this in mind, Tiktok recently conducted a ‘Grow with Tiktok’ workshop in Kathmandu.
In the workshop, the TikTok representative gave information about how content creators can increase their reach. According to the TikTok representative, even if the content is good, if the technical aspects are neglected, sometimes the riches do not come as expected. If a content creator or a user who wants to make a video on TikTok improves some aspects, the video can get a better reach.

1) Making video in 16:9 ratio
Most TikTok users watch videos on mobile. Therefore, short and vertical videos are preferred on this platform. According to the TikTok representative, if the video is prepared in 16:9 size, the video will have more impact on the audience.
2) Place text on the video
For some people, the text of the video keeps them hooked on the video. Put whatever topic you want to make a video in the caption of the video. When placing the text, you have to take care of whether the background matches or not, what kind of background is appropriate, whether it suits you or not, and how big the text looks. Having text that describes each scene in the video encourages viewers to interact.
3) Be clear about what you want to make the video about at the beginning
The first two to three seconds of TikTok are very important. Start by giving the viewer the specific information you want to convey. If you try to confuse them by binding roles, they may not watch your video. Use plenty of words, graphics, sound effects, and stickers. When such topics are kept in the video, it attracts the audience. Do not put stickers or other graphics in an ugly way to make it more attractive. Keep graphics that show common, attractive, and important topics.
