The Road Is Open 24 Hours Throughout The Gosaikund Mela 2024 Earlier, the road was open only for the whole day to protect nature and stop illegal traffic. Earlier it used to be closed at night.
The Langtang National Park Office has announced that the fair will be open 24 hours a day. On the occasion of Janaipurnima, an important festival for Hindus and Buddhists, the park has opened the traffic to the famous pilgrimage site Gosainkunda, keeping in mind the services and facilities of the devotees who come for worship and darshan.
Two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles for religious purposes can be operated round the clock till August 4.
The senior conservation officer of the park, Annath Baral, said that the checkpoints at Dhunche and Kalikasthan of Langtang National Park have been regularly checked and kept open for round-the-clock traffic. Travelers say that since the road is open 24 hours a day during the fair, the travelers of Parvatikunda and Gosaikund fair will have easy access.
