Middle East Tensions: Kanye West’s Delhi Concert Canceled Fans of rapper Kanye West will have to wait a little longer to see him perform live in India for the first time.

He was scheduled to perform in the capital, New Delhi, on March 29. According to the latest information provided by the organisers, the event has been postponed for about two months due to “geopolitical situations and regional tensions.”

The announcement was made on Monday via Instagram, Whitefox, Plus Entertainment and Wizcraft. The new date for the concert has been set for May 23. All tickets purchased previously will remain valid, the statement said.

Regarding the reason for the postponement, it was stated, “Due to the current geopolitical situation and regional tensions, the ‘Ye’ concert in New Delhi has now been postponed to May 23, 2026.”

It was previously stated, ‘We have given the highest priority to the safety of the audience, artists and technical team travelling internationally. All tickets will remain valid for the new date. Thank you for your understanding and continued support – Team ‘Ye Live in India’.’

The venue of the event has not been changed. It is said that the concert will be held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. Earlier, the organisers had said in a statement that the concert would be presented as a special experience.

According to the statement, the audience will be able to experience a grand stage design, cinematic large-scale visual presentation, state-of-the-art sound technology and a performance of songs that encompass the artist’s musical journey. It is stated that the program has been prepared as a holistic experience, seamlessly combining popular songs from the early stages to current popular creations in one performance.

Sabbas Joseph, Co-Founder and Director, Wizcraft International, added, “India has now reached a stage where our ambitions, infrastructure and audience levels are starting to match those of world-class performances. The first performance of ‘Ye’ at this level shows how developed India’s live entertainment sector has become, and also signals that the country is ready to host large-scale events that will have a global impact.”
