In Lalitpur 1: RSVP Overtakes Congress And UNEP Ahead Of NCP In Lalitpur Constituency No. 1, the National Independent Party has overtaken the Nepali Congress.
The Nepali Congress candidate, Uday Shumsher Jabra, leads the Nepali Congress candidate, Buddharatna Maharjan, by 7 votes.
According to the vote count as of 8:15 pm today, Buddha Ratna of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh received 7,071 votes, while Udaya Shamsher of the Nepali Congress received 7,064 votes.
CPN-UML candidate Chetnath Sanjel got 4,020 votes.
While Padam Kumar Lama of the Ujjaya Nepal Party received 1,902 votes, Nepali Communist Party candidate Sunil Maharjan received 1,07 votes.
