Ravi Lamichhane’s Facebook Page Has Been Locked By Meta After A Hacking Attempt – Secretariat Meta has ‘locked’ the official Facebook page of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSWP) President Ravi Lamichhane. Meta took the step, keeping in mind the security sensitivity after repeated attempts by outsiders to gain unauthorised access to the page, Lamichhane’s secretariat said.
Issuing a statement, the secretariat claimed that hackers had attempted to attack the page since Tuesday morning. The statement said that no new content will be posted on the page until it is completely secured and brought back under control.
It has also been requested not to consider any suspicious posts, messages, or links made public from the page while it is locked and not to be misled.
Currently, efforts are being made to reactivate the page as per Facebook’s security procedures, and in the meantime, the secretariat has requested that only the party’s website or other verified social media be followed for official information.
