ChatGPT’s Search Engine Feature Comes To Shock Google You Used It OpenAI’s AI tool ChatGPT has added a search engine feature. The company made this feature available to all users on Monday night.
Earlier, ChatGPT used to respond based on the data it had been trained on. Later in October, the company modified the same feature and made it available for search from the Internet in version four o (4o). Free users could use this feature only with a few prompts, while paid users had full access to this feature.
Modifying that, the company has provided a search engine feature in the chatbox itself. If you update the ChatGPT app or click here to go to the ChatGPT browser, an internet icon will appear in the chatbox at the bottom.
If you want ChatGPT to search for any information from the internet or if your need is an internet search, you should first enable that option. Then, if you ask a question, ChatGPT will provide you with a search for related content from the internet.
Just as Google search results show links to various websites when you enter some information, ChatGPT has also started showing appropriate links.
There is a debate on social media about how it is struggling to provide the appropriate links that users want. In particular, if you ask what are the top news stories of the day, it provides links to old news stories as if they were today’s news. However, the company has stated that it will improve the shortcomings seen in the initial phase.
