Janakpur And Karnali Clash For Final Entry Karnali Yaks and Janakpur Bolts will compete in Qualifier Two of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) today.
The match will start at 12 noon at TU International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
Karnali Yaks, who is ranked fourth in the league stage, entered Qualifier Two by defeating Chitwan Rhinos in the eliminator on Wednesday.
Janakpur Bolts, who are in second place in the league, will play Qualifier Two after defeating Sudurpaschim Royals in Qualifier One. Despite losing to Sudurpaschim, Janakpur got another opportunity to reach the finals.
William Bosisto and Chadwick Walton of Karnali have batted well. Similarly, Jisan Maksud is performing all around. Jayaksin Kolsawala, who was recently signed and played in the playoffs, has already proved his presence in Buffon by scoring a half-century in the first game. Captain Sompal Kami, Nandan Yadav, and young spinner Bipin Prasad Sharma are bowling. There are many all-rounders in Karnali, so there is an option for bowling.
In Anil’s absence, Akash Tripathi played as the first choice. When Jimmy Neeshamm relied a lot on batting, other players of Janakpur could not support him well. Janakpur’s top order performed well in the opening match, but the middle order did not work. Therefore, Janakpur’s top order needs to perform well to reach the final. Janakpur’s bowling is performing well.
Lalit Rajvanshi and Kishore Mahato bowled well. Sher Mall, along with foreign players Neesham, Harsh Thaker, and Mohammad Mohsin, has given good support.
