Now Electricity Bill Can Be Paid Online From 8 AM To 12 PM Two hours have been extended to pay electricity bills online. The Nepal Electricity Authority has implemented a system that allows online payment from 8 am to 12 pm this financial year.
According to Rabindraraj Shrestha, deputy secretary of the authority, online payment could be made from 10 am to 12 pm. He said that two hours have been added in the morning for the convenience of the customers.
“We have added two hours in the morning,” said Shrestha with Tekpana, “now payments can be made from 8 o’clock.”
According to Shrestha, because the authority’s system is not centralized, online payment has a time limit. He said that the authority is working so consumers can pay online 24 hours daily.
“We are currently working on this system. After the system is ready in the next six months, consumers can make payments at any time,” he said.
