Ncell Has Reduced International Data Roaming Charges Ncell has reduced international data roaming charges. In line with its commitment to keep customers ‘always on’ i.e. online through mobile data, Ncell has set a new price for data roaming.
With the revised data roaming pack charges, customers can use the daily data pack while staying in the US, UAE, and Qatar at Rs 79.88 per day including taxes. This fee is 58 percent less than the previous daily rate of Rs 190.18.
Similarly, Ncell customers traveling to China, the UK, and Thailand can avail of the data service at Rs 190.18 per day including tax. Before the amendment, the daily data roaming charges to these destinations were Rs 633.93. This fee has been reduced by 70 percent.
According to the company, Ncell customers can activate this pack by dialing *17129*2# as per the instructions received. Prepaid customers can get this pack by dialing *123#. The company says interested customers can also get the pack from the Ncell app or the Ncell website. According to the company, the revised fee has been implemented from the 8th of Jestha.
After getting this pack, customers get SMS alerts even when traveling abroad. For this reason, the company says that taking the SIM of the country you visited is unnecessary.
Even if the customer is inside the country or outside of Nepal, they can recharge their balance through various wallets, purchase data packs, and stay connected at all times. The company said that there will be no charge for resuming this pack. Roaming starts automatically when moving to the countries mentioned above and customers can directly purchase daily data roaming and use the data service.
Customers can renew this pack before or even after reaching abroad. According to Ncell, the company’s roaming service is available in more than 100 countries of the world.
