We need to put a different style of text to be sent on WhatsApp. WhatsApp has a new text-formatting feature. WhatsApp gave information about the new text formatting in a post on the blogging site Threads on Wednesday.
With this, users can now make text bold, bullet list, block quote, inline code, and italic. For that, in order to put the text in the bullet list, you have to put a (-) in front of the text and send the message.
Similarly, if you send a message by doing (1.), the message will go as a list of numbers. If you send a message with (>), the message will be sent as a quote.
The user can send text as an inline code (‘Message’), send in bold (*Message*), send in italic (_Message_), and send a message by putting such a code.
Similarly, if you want a line to be cut from the middle of the word, you can type this (~Message~) in the message. And you can send text by typing “`Message”’ in monospace.
Note that all these formats initially work on the desktop version. Some formats can also be used in mobile apps.
