ICC T20 World Cup schedule 2024 Nepal is playing three Test nations in the group stage. According to the schedule released by ICC on Friday, Nepal is in Group D. In this group there are test nations South Africa, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh along with associate nations Nepal and the Netherlands.

Nepal has already played T20 international matches against Bangladesh and Netherlands, while it will be the first T20 international match against South Africa and Sri Lanka.

In the group where Nepal is, two countries in South Asia have received Test recognition. Nepal is going to play T20 World Cup after 9 years. Earlier in 2014, the T20 World Cup was played in Bangladesh.

Nepal’s first match will be against the Netherlands on June 4 in Texas. The second match will be played on June 11 against Sri Lanka in Florida.

After that, Nepal will play South Africa on June 14 and Bangladesh on June 16. Both matches will be played in St. Vincent.

Group division

This time, a total of 20 nations are competing in the T20 World Cup. In which the participating teams are divided into four groups. There are five teams in each group. A team will be allowed to play four. This time most 9 Associate nations are playing T20 World Cup.

Earlier T20 World Cup was played in two stages, but this time all the teams are playing in the same position. As a result, the associate nations will also be able to play at least two nations in the group stage.

The top two teams from four groups will enter the Super Eight round. Where 8 teams will be divided into two groups.

Group A: India, Pakistan, Ireland, USA, Canada

Group B: England, Australia, Namibia, Scotland, Oman

Group C: New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda, Papua New Guinea

Group D: South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Netherlands, Nepal
