Siddharth Bank Credit card and Demat account with free usage for 4 years On the occasion of its 21st anniversary, Siddharth Bank Limited has launched the ‘FreeFor’ scheme. Intending to encourage digital banking services, the bank has introduced this plan to be implemented from 9th January to 29th January.
Under this scheme, they can apply for credit cards and demat accounts through the bank’s ‘Easy Bank Portal’. It is said that the service can be used for free for up to four years.
How to apply for a credit card and demat account?
According to Siddharth Bank, it is possible to get a credit card even if one does not have an account in that bank. You can apply the following procedure.
- First, go to the Credit Card Request section on the Easy Bank portal by clicking here.
- There, the option of applying for a New Credit Card is automatically selected. Click on the Submit button at the bottom of it.
- After doing this, fill in your personal details in the box that opens and press the Submit button again.
- After doing this, an OTP code will be sent to your email. Put the OTP code in the box shown there and submit.
- After that, the box to put the OTP code on the mobile will open again. Put the received OTP code in it as well.
- After doing this, you will be shown how much you qualify for on the credit card. In that case, press the ‘Yes’ button if you think it is suitable, and press the ‘No’ button if you think it is not suitable.
- After doing this select the ‘S’ option if you have an account and the ‘No’ option if not.
- If you have an account, keep the OTP code received in the email, keep the account number and the registered phone number, and submit it.
- If not, you have to put the OTP code that came to your email or mobile number again.
- After doing this, a page will open where you have to enter your additional details. After providing all the documents and details mentioned there, your request reaches the bank.
- The bank will contact you once your credit card is ready and you can visit your nearest bank branch to collect your credit card.
Application for Demat Account
According to the bank, users who open a demat account under this offer will not have to pay any fees for four years. To open a demat account, one must have an account in Siddharth Bank. If you have a Siddharth Bank account then you can follow the below procedure.
- First of all, click here and go to Siddharth Bank’s page regarding the demat account.
- Then go to the option of ‘Apply for new demat account online registration’.
- After doing this, if you have an account, click ‘Yes’ and if you don’t have an account, click the ‘No’ button.
- Then verify the account details by filling in the required details.
According to the bank, applicants who open a demat account through online must present themselves at the nearest Siddharth Bank branch office or Siddharth Capital Limited within 60 days after receiving the Demat account number and verify the application with their complete citizenship certificate.
Apart from this, the bank has also given the option to update the video KYC within 60 days by going to the link received in the email.
