Cloudy Across The Country Today: Possibility Of Rain In A Few Places. Generally, partly cloudy weather is forecast across the country today. The Meteorological Forecasting Division has stated that there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall along with thunder and lightning in some parts of the country.
According to the division, it will be generally cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, as well as Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, this afternoon. The remaining areas will be partly cloudy.
Due to these clouds, there is a possibility of light rain/snowfall with thunder/lightning in some places in the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi Province, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces, hilly and mountainous areas of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces, a few places in Madhesh Province, and one or two places in the Terai areas of Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini Provinces, the division has forecast.
The weather will continue to be cloudy tonight as well, with light rain and snowfall likely in some parts of the country, the division has said. Despite the cloudy weather, the lack of rain has led to high air pollution in major cities, including Kathmandu.
