Balen’s Celebration After Defeating Oli Senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Balen Shah, who defeated former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli by a huge margin, has thanked the voters.
As soon as the final results were made public, Balen reached out to his supporters and voters to thank them.
According to the final results released a few moments ago, Balen was elected with 68,348 votes. He defeated former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is also the chairman of the CPN-UML.
UML Chairman Oli, on the other hand, received 18,734 votes. There was a difference of 49,614 votes between them. He has also received a certificate from the officials of the Central Election Office.
After receiving the certificate, he went to his supporters and showed them a banner. It reads, ‘Thank you very much, yes.’
Jhapa-5 was the most talked about constituency in this year’s election.
After former Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah filed his candidacy, there was a lot of talk about the competition with Oli in this constituency.
