How Martyrs’ Day 2082 Was Celebrated In Kathmandu. Various programs are being organised today on the occasion of Martyrs’ Day. On this occasion, the Kathmandu Metropolitan City has also organised a special ceremony at the Martyrs‘ Memorial, Lainchaur.
Prime Minister Sushila Karki and others paid tribute to the martyrs at the program.
Before that, a morning procession was organised. Gathering at Shanti Bhatika, the morning procession, accompanied by the Nepal Police and Armed Police Band, marching bands, and buggies carrying pictures of martyrs, reached the Martyrs’ Garden, Lainchaur, and turned into a tribute meeting.
The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister, ministers, high-ranking government officials, people’s representatives, and heads of security agencies.
