According to the details provided by the centre, the work of printing 14.2 million and 8 thousand ballot papers has been completed. In the last 24 hours alone, 1.116 million ballot papers have been printed. The centre has stated that a total of 28.3 million ballot papers need to be printed.
Similarly, a total of 11,478 boxes of ballot papers have been packed. The centre has stated that 1,226 boxes have been packed in the last 24 hours alone. The centre has sent 198,200 sample ballot papers to the commission.
Distribution of election symbols today
Candidates who have filed their candidacies for the House of Representatives elections are receiving their election symbols today. The election symbols will be distributed after the process of withdrawing candidacies is completed.
Similarly, the final list of candidates will be published today from 1 pm to 3 pm. After that, the election symbols will be given to the candidates from 4 pm to 7 pm.
Candidacies were registered across the country on Magh 20 for the direct elections to be held on Falgun 21.
