41 Days Left Until The House Of Representatives Elections. Candidates who have filed their candidacies for the House of Representatives elections are receiving their election symbols today. The election symbols will be distributed after the process of withdrawing candidacies is completed.
According to the election schedule, candidates can withdraw their candidacies from 10 am to 1 pm today. Similarly, the final list of candidates will be published from 1 pm to 3 pm today. After that, the election symbols will be given to the candidates from 4 pm to 7 pm.
Candidacies were registered across the country on Magh 6 for the direct elections to be held on 21 Falgun. The deadline for filing objections was set on Magh 7. After that, the list of candidates was published on Thursday after examining and deciding on the nomination papers and complaints.
A total of 3,486 candidates were registered in 165 constituencies across the country. Of the total candidates, 3,089 are men, 396 are women, and one is another.
Of the total 275 members of the House of Representatives, 110 members will be elected through the proportional representation system, and 165 members will be elected through the direct election system.
