UML National Convention: 108 Delegates Nominated The CPN-UML has nominated 108 delegates to the 11th National Convention. They were nominated as delegates to the convention at a meeting held on Friday. Madhav Dhungel, Secretary of the UML Organisation Department and Delegate Management Committee, informed that the number of delegates eligible to participate in the 11th General Convention of the UML will be 2,262.
According to him, 2,154 delegates to the General Convention, excluding nominations, have been selected as per the number and criteria decided based on Apani 13 issued by the UML Central Secretariat.
As per the statutory provisions, the number of 5 per cent nominees has been fixed at 108. Which was selected by the secretariat meeting. With this, the total number of participants will be 2571, including 309 central advisors.
