Lumbini Shares Joy As They Win NPL Title. Lumbini Lions have won the Nepal Premier League (NPL) Season-2 title. Lumbini defeated Sudurpaschim in the final held on Saturday. Lumbini players exchanged joy with each other at the Tribhuvan University Stadium after the title.
Lumbini Lions’ Rohit Poudel was also declared the best Nepali player of the tournament. Rohit received the Omoda car. Rohit scored 276 runs and took 10 wickets.
Similarly, Sudurpaschim’s Avinash Bohra was declared the Red Bull Energetic Player of the Tournament. He took 17 wickets.
Namibian pace bowler Ruben Trumpelman of Lumbini Lions has been declared the best player of the tournament. He took 15 wickets and received Rs 500,000.
The best bowler of the tournament is Sandeep Lamichhane of Biratnagar. He also received a Pulsar bike. Rohit Poudel has also been declared the best batter of the tournament. He also received a Pulsar bike.
