Experts say TikTok may be trying to attract YouTube viewers by introducing a longer video feature. The change is expected to make it easier to post videos ranging from full episodes of television shows to other long videos.
TikTok first introduced the ability to upload short videos of 15 seconds in 2016. It has since increased the limit to 60 seconds, three minutes, and 10 minutes.
The company is also working on features to upload videos of 15 and 30 minutes. However, TikTok has not said when the 60-minute video feature will be available globally.
