Bolu is located 170 kilometres northwest of the capital Ankara. Local Turkish media reported that two people died after jumping from a window.

Bolu’s mountainous terrain is popular for skiing, and many people from Istanbul and the capital Ankara come this season. Schools were also closed for two days.
According to local reports, it took firefighters more than an hour to reach the scene due to extremely low temperatures.
