Apple CEO Tim Cook’s Annual Earnings Exceed $10 Billion Apple CEO Tim Cook earned more than $10 billion in 2024. According to the company’s annual report, his total earnings reached $74.6 million (approximately $10.23 billion).
This figure is 11 percent higher than in 2023 when his income was $63.2 million. Tim Cook’s earnings include a base salary of $3 million, stock awards of $58 million, and performance-based bonuses of $12 million.
In addition, he received $1.5 million in other benefits, including retirement plans, life insurance, vacation pay, security, and personal airfare.
Cook’s target salary for 2024 was $59 million. However, he received additional cash incentives after the company performed well, which increased his annual income.
Although Cook’s 2024 earnings are higher than in 2023, they are significantly lower than the $99 million he earned in 2022. He earned about $100 million in 2022. Cook and the Apple board then decided to adjust his salary. Apple’s other top executives, Luca Maestri, Kate Adams, Deirdre O’Brien and Jeff Williams, earned $27.2 million in 2024.
Apple’s 2025 shareholder meeting is scheduled for 8 a.m. Pacific time on February 25. Shareholders will vote on issues including re-election of the board of directors and approval of executive compensation.
CEO Tim Cook and other executives are expected to provide little information about the company’s future plans at the meeting, but some important information is expected to be revealed. At last year’s meeting, Cook discussed the potential of artificial intelligence. It was unveiled as an “Apple Intelligence” feature in June 2024.
