You Can Now Send Your Live Location To Friends From Instagram Instagram now lets you send live locations from your inbox. Instagram has been gradually rolling out this feature since Tuesday. Instagram’s parent company Meta had already made this feature available on WhatsApp and Messenger.
In addition, users can now add a nickname to their profile on Instagram. This feature was previously available only on Messenger. The company has stated that adding a nickname will not change the user’s other username.
The live location sent by Instagram will be valid for only one hour. This feature will be especially useful for meeting someone, and showing the address of an event or event. Real-time location can be sent in both individual chats and group chats.
Instagram has also added 17 new avatar stickers and more than 300 fun stickers to the app, which the company believes will make chats more entertaining.
For now, these features are only available in a limited number of countries. The company plans to roll out this feature globally soon.
