NPL Craze: Tickets Worth Over Rs 3.2 Million Sold From Khalti In Three Days All the tickets for the first match of the Nepal Premier League (IPL) starting next Saturday have been sold. The tickets were opened on Monday through the digital wallet Khalti and were sold out within three days, informed Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) Secretary Chhumbi Lama.
According to him, out of 10,000 tickets, 800 VIP tickets and 9,200 general tickets have been sold through Khalti. For the inaugural match, the price of VIP tickets was kept at Rs 700 and the general ticket at Rs 300.
Based on this, CAN has earned an additional income of Rs 3.2 million from ticket sales for the inaugural match between Biratnagar Kings and Janakpur Bolts.
