Apple To Start Production Of iPhone 17 In India The iPhone 17 production process has progressed in India. Apple’s manufacturing partner Foxconn has started the process of producing the base model of the iPhone 17 at its factory in Bangalore, India.
This is considered a’significant achievement’ of Apple’s manufacturing efforts in India. Previously, this level of production was mainly done in China. It is said that Apple has taken this step with the aim of diversifying its production process and reducing its dependence on China. Considering India’s growing manufacturing capacity and large consumer market, Apple is increasing its investment here.
As part of this, it is being evaluated whether Indian engineers can make an iPhone of a quality that matches the prototype prepared in California.
There is no official information about the features of the iPhone 17. Apple supply chain analyst Jeff Poo speculates on some possible features.
According to him, this base model can be produced in an iPhone 17 with a 6.1-inch display, an A19 chip, 8 GB of RAM, a 24-megapixel front camera, a 48-megapixel fusion camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and an aluminum case. Based on these features, the base model of the iPhone 17 will not be much different from the iPhone 16.
