13-year-old Bhupendra Kathayat of Sai village Dailekh, Athabis municipality-3 died while burning Diwali firecrackers.
When Bhupendra fired a rocket bomb, its shrapnel hit his right chest. District Police Office Dailekh has confirmed that he died when the bullet hit his heart.
We were in contact with his family. “We have received information that Bhupendra died during Diwali celebrations,” said Sunil Dahal, Chief of the District Police Office, Dailekh.
Bhupendra lived with his family in the Surat district of Gujarat province, India, and his family was working in Surat.
