There May Be Aliens In The Ice Of Mars A study has shown that there may be microbial aliens on Mars. The latest study by a team of American scientists recently brought out new facts.
This study titled ‘Potential for Photosynthesis on Mars Between Snow and Ice’ has been published in the prestigious journal Nature Communications Earth and Environment. According to the study, the thick layer of ice on the surface of Mars can protect the organisms from harmful radiation. For this reason, it has been claimed that there may be microbial aliens in such a place.
At present, no life has been found on the surface of Mars. The reason for this is that there is a high amount of ultraviolet radiation. But this study by scientists has shown that if the ice layer is thick, there can be life. For this, the scientists involved in the research studied the dust and ice structure of Mars.
According to them, if there is not much dust (0.01 to 0.1 per cent) in the ice, there is a possibility of life at a depth of 5 to 38 centimetres below the surface. Similarly, if the ice is more clear, this possibility is at a depth of 2.15 to 3.10 meters.
However, this study did not provide concrete proof of the existence of life in the ice of Mars. In the future, scientists suggest that such small things should be taken into account when searching for life on Mars.
