Download the PocketPal AI app from the Play Store/App Store.
This app is free. In addition to this, you can also communicate with other AI tools. This app is said to keep the conversation safe and private.
Open the app. At first, there is a message saying, ‘No messages here.’ Just below that, on the right side, there is an option that says ‘Go to model’. Click on it.
Now there are different models. Choose a Llama among them. And download the ‘llama-3.2-3b-instruct q4_k’ model. Its size is 2.02 GB. It may take some time to download. If you use fast internet, the time will be less.
After downloading, click on ‘Load’.
Now go back to the main menu. And start chatting.
Currently, Google’s Gemma, Microsoft’s Phi, and Hugging Face’s Qwen model can also be used in the same way in PocketPal AI.
