Various AI features in Photoshop are powered by Adobe Firefly. Under this, AI can do the work, from removing the background in the photo to filling the empty space. Today we are going to discuss some of the features that come with Photoshop:

1. Remove the tool

It used to take time to remove the unnecessary parts in the photo. But now, due to AI tools, this work has become easier. Unwanted parts of the photo can be removed with a few clicks. You can find the ‘Remove Tool’ in Photoshop’s toolbar. After selecting this tool, you can select the shape of the brush and remove any part.

2. Generatively expand

In some cases, the size of the photo could have been bigger. Until recently, this was very difficult to do. But thanks to the generative tool, it has become very easy to increase the size of the photo. A crop tool should be used for this.

You can click ‘C’ on the keyboard. Now, instead of cropping, drag the edge of the box. Now click on Generative Expand in the option bar (contextual task bar). You can now write a prompt for it. Then click on ‘Generate’.

3. Select Subject

It is considered a very difficult task to select the parts in the photo. But due to AI, this job has also become easier. This tool is much better than the Magnetic Lasso. This tool can be found within the Select menu.

4. Select Object 

The subject in the photograph is the main focus of the picture. An object is any part inside the photo. In some cases, you need to select a part of the photo. Previously, this work had to be done manually.

5. Sky replacement

Editing the sky is one of the most difficult tasks in Photoshop. Be it clouds or other parts of the sky, But nowadays, due to AI, this work has become easy and simple to do.

For this, go to Edit and go to Sky Replacement. In the pop-up window that opens there, a picture of the sky appears. Which you can edit as you like.

6. Generative Phil

As the name suggests, the job of this tool is to fill in parts of the photo. You can fill in any part of the photo based on AI and prompts. This tool is especially useful in graphic design than photo editing.

For this, you select some part of the photo. Now type your prompt in the ‘contextual’ task bar and click generate.
