Nepal’s Two Teams Qualify For The PUBG World Cup Two Nepali PUBG teams, DRS Gaming and Hora E-Sports, are going to compete in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2024. In PMSL Central and South Asia Fall 2024, Hora e-Sports finished sixth and was selected for PMGC 2024, while DRS Gaming was already selected based on PMGC points.
Out of the 16 teams that competed in the final stage of PMSL Central and South Asia Fall 2024, nine teams have been confirmed to play in the PUBG World Cup. Among the shortlisted teams are Phomiracle Vibes, Falcon Force, DRS Gaming, and AS IT e-Sports, which were selected based on PMGC points. Five other teams have been selected from this tournament, including Stalwart E-Sports, Hora E-Sports, Major Pride, DE Murte, and AOR E-Sports.
Competition results
Fomiracle Vibes won the title in 18 games with a total of 173 points, including three chicken dinners, 95 elimination points, and 28 league ranking points. Falcon Force in the second position got 164 points, while Stalwart E-Sports and DRS Gaming in the third and fourth positions got 158 and 152 points, respectively.
The winner of the competition, Fomiracle Vibes, received $26,000 (about Rs. 37,38,000). Nepali team DRS Gaming received 10 thousand 600 dollars (about 14 lakh 20 thousand rupees), and Hora E-Sports received 6 thousand 400 dollars (about 8 lakh 57 thousand rupees) from the finals.
PMGC 2024 is expected to be held in October-November.
