Chance Of Heavy Rain At Some Places Of Koshi Or Madhesh And Gandaki At present, the influence of monsoon air is present across the country. According to the Department of Hydrometeorology, Weather Forecasting Division, the monsoon low-pressure line is located around Sardar Place to the west and south of Sardar Place to the east.
According to the weather bulletin issued by the division, it is now partly to mostly cloudy across the country.
Light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning is occurring at some places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces and a few places in the rest of the province. According to the division, heavy rain is possible in one or two places in the Koshi, Madhes, and Gandaki provinces.
In the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at some places in all the provinces and heavy rain at one or two places in Koshi, Madhes, and Gandaki provinces, the division has mentioned.
The department has requested to take necessary precautions to avoid the risk or damage of disasters like geologic flows, floods, landslides, and erosion that may occur in those areas, and there is a possibility of a partial impact on daily life, including agriculture, health, tourism, mountain climbing, and road and air transport.
