Heavy Rains In Danda Of Nawalpur In the last 3 hours, there has been heavy rain in the surrounding areas including the rain measuring center at Danda in Nawalpur. The Flood Forecasting Division has requested to exercise vigilance as there is a possibility of more rain in the area.
The division predicts that the flow in the Narayani River and its tributaries and other small streams will increase significantly. Therefore, the department has requested the residents of the river coastal areas to be vigilant till 12 noon.
In Nawalpur, 147.4 mm of rain was recorded in 6 hours and 86.6 mm in 3 hours. Similarly, in Chitwan’s Devghat, 71.4 and 60.6 mm of rain were measured in Palpa’s Archie in three hours. 57.2 mm of rain has been measured in Deurali of Nawalparasi West.
