No Problem Of Not Receiving SMS And OTP On Mobile Numbers: Ncell has said that there is no problem with SMS, OTP (one-time password), and other notifications not coming to any of its mobile numbers. The company has made it clear that these services are easily available on all numbers within the country or on international roaming.
Ncell Chief Commercial Officer Umair Mohsin said that there is no problem with SMS or OTP delivery in any number range. “Initially the 970 range had some initial problems. That problem has been solved with the quick understanding of various major service providers,” he said.
In the current situation where the use of digital services is on the rise, customers can use Application to Person (ATUP) messages such as; They receive in the form of OTP, SMS, and other notifications. Such messages are sent by government bodies, semi-government bodies, banks and financial institutions, private sector organizations providing various services, and global platforms like Google and Facebook.
Ncell has also requested other short-code operators and service providers to include Ncell’s new 970 number range in their systems. The company has started issuing mobile numbers in this new number range since last year with the plan to further extend the facilities to its customers.
He mentioned that all Ncell number series are accessible for local incoming calls and international calls as well
If there are any problems, customers and short code operators can contact Ncell customer care or enterprise team to raise their concerns, the company said.
In addition, in the 970 number range, the customer can select the last six digits apart from the first 9705 as ‘always on the special number’.
