Nobel Laureate Yunus Is Ready To Lead The Interim Government In Bangladesh The 84-year-old leader of microfinance, Yunus, who earned the enmity of Hasina who was deposed as the prime minister and the widespread respect of millions of Bangladeshis, is credited with lifting millions of people out of poverty.

Army Chief General Wakar-Uz-Zaman announced on Monday that the army would form an interim government and said that now is the time to stop the violence.
The President dissolved Parliament on Tuesday. Student leaders and the main opposition Bangladesh National Party (BNP) demanded the dissolution of parliament and elections within three months.
