National Identity Cards Will Be Linked To The Central Customer Identification System Nepal Rastra Bank will link the National Identity Card to the Centralized KYC (Centralized Customer Identification System).
Governor Mahaprasad Adhikari, while announcing the monetary policy for the financial year 2081/82 on Friday, mentioned the plan to link the national identity card to the centralized KYC to facilitate the exchange of information between banks and financial institutions.
“To facilitate the exchange of customer information between banks and financial institutions and other organizations licensed to perform payment-related activities, and the national identity card issued by the Government of Nepal will be linked to the central customer identification system, the necessary coordination will be done with the relevant agencies for the construction and implementation of the central customer identification system. “said the governor’s official.
