Kaligandaki Corridor Blocked Due To Floods In Theu River The Kaligandaki Corridor was completely blocked when the road was swept away by the flood in Theulekhola due to sparse rain.
Vehicles going to Butwal, Bhairwah, Kapilvastu, Dang, and Muktinath have come to a standstill due to flooding in Theulekhola located in Jaimini Municipality-1 of Baglung.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Vijay Yadav, Information Officer of District Police Office Baglung, said that vehicles coming to Baglung market from various places in Jaimini Municipality, Winekuna, Zaidi, Chisti, Zaidi, Arjewa, Binamare and Bareng Rural Municipality were also stopped when the corridor was blocked.
He informed us that after the rain stops, the corridor project will be opened.
About 15 kilometers of road up to Badigad Rural Municipality-2 Handikhola has been damaged.
However, Galkot municipality spokesman Him Bahadur Bhandari informed that the public road has been put into operation after the landslide was removed.
