How Much Has The Price Of Salt Increased In Nepal Salt Trading Corporation Limited has increased the price of salt.
Deputy Chief Executive Officer Kumar Rajbhandari said that the meeting of the Salt Trading Board of Directors held on Tuesday decided to increase the price of salt. The increased price will be effective from midnight today.
According to the new price list, consumers will now have to pay Rs 26 for Ayo salt which was Rs 22 per kg. On this basis, the price has increased by Rs 4 per kg.
Similarly, the consumer price of New Shakti salt has reached 20 rupees per kg. Earlier, the consumer price of New Shakti salt was 16 rupees. The wholesale price of Ayo Noon and New Shakti is 23 and 17 rupees respectively. That is, the wholesale price is 3-3 rupees cheaper than the consumer price.
Salt Trading has kept the price of Bhanu salt unchanged. Salt Trading Bhanu salt is going to be provided to the consumers at 9 rupees per kg.
Salt Trading has also written letters to provinces, branches, sub-branches, and depot offices to adjust the price of salt.
