Details For National Identity Cards Will Be Collected From The Ward Level The Ministry of Home Affairs has instructed the Chief District Officers to collect the details of the National Identity Card at the ward level in coordination with the local level. The ministry issued a statement and gave such instructions to the workers of 28 districts where ID cards are mandatory to receive social security allowance.
The government has made the national identity card mandatory for receiving social security allowance in 28 districts in the first phase from July 1. It is stated in the statement signed by the Joint Secretary of the Ministry, Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, that the identity card details should be collected from the ward level as the number of service users increased in those districts.
In the first phase, 438 detail registration operators have been deployed in 28 districts where national identity cards have been implemented to provide easy service to the customers, and the Chief District Officer has been given authority to arrange the operation of detail registration stations at appropriate locations in coordination with the relevant local levels based on the demand of the customers.
