AI Will Now Write Emails in Gmail Now AI is going to write emails in Gmail. The company is going to provide an AI tool like Help Me Write in email to Google Workspace customers.
Help Me Write is a generative AI feature that prepares a draft of an email based on the user’s prompt (written instructions). It takes the burden of what to write and tries to write the email itself, and then you can finalize the draft in just a minute.
If you need more convenience to spend less time typing, Gmail is also coming with a voice prompt for the Help Me Write feature. With the help of voice prompts available in Help Me Write, you can use it to prepare written prompts for Gmail.
Gmail will then prepare your email using Google Gemini for Workspace. Which will be completed with the least typing done so far. Instant Police feature is also being added to Help Me Write, which will turn your old email into a sendable email.
If you look at the screenshot above, you can see that it completes broken sentences, correct spelling, corrects grammar and sentence structure as well as makes it more organized and readable. Gmail’s Help Me Write feature’s voice prompts are only available for mobile and Google Workspace subscribers. In the future, it will be possible to use the Help Me Write Workspace Lab program as well.
To access this feature, you must sign up to test Google’s early-stage products. Similarly, in addition to the English language, you must also be located in a country where this feature is available. If you are not a Workspace user, you may not currently be able to access these features.
It can be hoped that this feature will be available for Gmail users in the future. According to Google, Gmail’s Help Me Write feature is really popular and 70 percent of enterprise users who use it have even taken Gemini’s suggestion. This is a good rate in terms of compliance and there is no doubt that consumers will take advantage of this AI.
