Passkey is Available On X for iOS Users Social Network X has rolled out a new security update for iOS users. As an alternative to logging in, X has provided passkeys to OEOS users worldwide.
Last January, X introduced the option of passkey support for the first time. In this feature, the technology developed by FIDO Alliance in collaboration with Apple, Google, and Microsoft is used. For this, you need to have a device with iOS 15 or higher.
Passkeys are considered stronger than passwords in terms of security. Because it uses your biometric data instead of letters/numbers or symbols. Follow the below method to enable iOS on X:
-Open X on an iOS device.
-Click on the profile icon in the upper left corner.
– Then go to ‘Settings and Privacy’ through ‘Settings and Support’.
– Now click on ‘Security and Account Access’.
-Choose ‘Security’ from the various options there.
– Now turn on Passkey and verify by entering your current password.
