Holi Festival in Basantpur Nepal 2080 The Fagu Purnima (Holi) festival is celebrated on Sunday in hilly districts, including Kathmandu Valley.
The government also gives a public holiday on the day of Phagu Purnima, the festival of exchanging colors between friends and relatives.
There is a big celebration of Phagu Purnima in Basantpur in Kathmandu Valley. There was a huge crowd of people from New Road Gate to Basantpur. All the people were painted in different colors.
Not only natives but also foreigners are enjoying themselves here. A large group of Nepalis and foreigners wearing white T-shirts are painted in different colors, including red, blue, green, and yellow. They also enjoyed splashing water from Lola and Pichkari.
