Drone Monitoring of Crowded Places During Holi On the occasion of Fagu Purnima, the security system in Kathmandu has been tightened. District Police Precinct Chief and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Bhupendra Bahadur Khatri informed that joint checking has been arranged at more than 90 places by jointly mobilizing the manpower of the Valley Traffic Police Office and Kathmandu Precinct.
He also said that drones will be used to monitor crowded places, like last year, to prevent possible incidents.
SSP Khatri requested to contact the toll-free number 100 of the Nepal Police and the District Police Complex Kathmandu Chief’s number, 9851205555 if they saw or knew of any bad activities.
