Zuckerberg Lost a Quarter of $4 Billion When Facebook and Instagram were Down Worldwide Meta’s chief executive officer (CEO), Mark Zuckerberg,’s wealth has decreased by about three billion dollars in one day. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Zuckerberg’s wealth fell sharply when major social media platforms went down on Tuesday.
 
He is currently ranked fourth among the richest people with a net worth of $176 billion. While Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and Threads were down for about an hour, Meta’s share fell by 1.6 percent. According to Bloomberg, Zuckerberg’s wealth decreased by 2.7 billion dollars (more than 370 billion rupees) in one day as it increased and decreased based on Meta’s shares.
 
On Tuesday night, social media users were unable to use the Metaka platform for an hour. Some users complained that they had problems logging in to the Meta Quest device as well. On Facebook and Instagram, there were problems such as account logging out, pages not refreshing, and comments not appearing.
 
Later, Facebook apologized to the user after the problem was resolved. When the Metaka platform was down, users started posting on X. The owner of X, Elon Musk, made fun of Meta by saying that there was no problem with his server after users started coming to X.
