These social media platforms were also down in Nepal. After Meta’s main social network did not work, users posted on X and complained. However, within an hour of the downtime, the platform was restored.
It features three penguins with wings on their heads expressing frustration, representing Threads, Facebook, and Instagram. Opposite is the penguin shown as an X, who is shown wearing a hat and dark glasses.
X users are reacting, saying that Musk is trying to attack Zuckerberg’s social network. “You are reading this post because our server is working,” Musk wrote.
Elon Musk does not use any social media owned by Meta. He sometimes makes fun of these platforms on the subject of privacy.
Zuckerberg has now come to India to attend the wedding of Anant Ambani, the son of Indian businessman Mukesh Ambani. Social media users joked that these platforms of Meta being down when Zuckerberg came to India was a coincidence.
