Gemini’s AI-generated photo feature is currently suspended after controversy. Google is going to suspend Gemini’s feature of creating pictures based on words for some time. Google is going to suspend the feature after being heavily criticized for showing historical scenes in the wrong way.
 
Google brought this feature to Gemini to compete with tools like Microsoft and OpenAI’s CoPilot and Dal-E, which can create photos based on words.
 
“We are aware that Gemini may be misrepresenting some historical images,” Google said in a blog post Wednesday, “and we are working to resolve this issue.”
 
In November 2022, OpenAI released ‘ChatGPT‘, and Google is also in the same race. The giant technology company Microsoft has been providing financial and other support to OpenAI.
 
Like Gemini, AI tools are trained on large amounts of data. Experts have warned that when photos are prepared with such tools, it can encourage color or gender discrimination.
